John Richardson talked about his book My Father the Spy: An Investigative Memoir, published by HarperCollins. It chronicles the life of his father, one of the founding members of the CIA. The author, with the help of declassified documents and interviews he conducted with former spies, detailed his father’s position as CIA station chief in Vienna, Manila, and Saigon. Mr. Richardson also describes his own relationship with his father, also named John H. Richardson, and how his involvement in the CIA weighed heavily on his entire family. He also responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
