Justice Kennedy was presented with the Conference’s Franklin Award for his role in creating the Dialogue on Freedom program in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. The program enabled high school students to discuss American civic values and traditions with judges and lawyers. The conference also featured a keynote address from Mr. Nardelli. He announced a new Corporate Service Campaign, which will seek to mobilize more Americans and is already mobilizing volunteers and private aid to assist Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
