David McCullough talked about his book, 1776, published by Simon and Schuster. He discussed the American Revolutionary War and how Americans should not forget the sacrifices of those soldiers. He tells the story of the year of independence as it was experienced by the American soldiers, their wives, the king’s men, and by George Washington himself. He describes how General Washington launched the “brilliant stroke” that changed the fate of the war and the course of history. There was no question and answer session.
