Mr. Kirby was interviewed at the New York Times Great Read in the Park about his book Evidence of Harm: Mercury in Vaccines and the Autism Epidemic: A Medical Controversy, published by St. Martin’s Press. The author said that the government used mercury in childhood vaccines in the 1990s and still uses it in influenza vaccines. He discussed the link between autism and the accumulation of mercury in the brain. Mr. Kirby said that most vaccines since 1999 are predominantly mercury-free. close
