The Left Bank Books Gay Men’s Reading Group discussed Gore Vidal’s book Palimpsest: A Memoir, published by Penguin Books. In the memoir, Mr. Vidal wrote about the first forty years of his life, discussing his friendships with Robert Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy, Jack Kerouac, and Tennessee Williams.
