Dick Morris talked about the book he co-wrote with Eileen McGann, Condi vs. Hillary: The Next Great Presidential Race, published by Regan Books. He said that Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) would likely be the Democratic nominee and she would win the female vote. Mr. Morris said that “It takes a woman, it doesn’t take a village,” in explaining the only way to stop Senator Clinton from winning. He said that by choosing Secretary Condoleezza Rice as their nominee, the Republican Party should be able to split the female vote. The author also discussed Secretary Rice’s ability to take away some of the minority votes the Democratic Party typically relies on. Following his presentation, Mr. Morris responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
