Former Ambassador Wilson spoke at the National Press Club about the investigation into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) leaks to the press of the identity of a covert CIA operative, his wife Valerie Plame. He discussed Robert Novak’s column identifying Mrs. Wilson as an operative on weapons of mass destruction. He also talked about uranium mining in Africa and his experiences as a member of the State Department. Following his remarks, Ambassador Wilson responded to questions and comments submitted by members of the audience.
