Mr. McClellan spoke to reporters about President Bush’s meeting with Burmese activist Charm Tong and the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court. Following his brief remarks, he responded to questions and comments from the reporters. Mr. McClellan addressed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) leak investigation and the status of Karl Rove as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President.
