The American Bar Association held a law and national security conference titled “National Security Law in a Changed World: The Fifteenth Annual Review of the Field” to address the prosecuting of terrorists and rule of law efforts in Iraq.

Experts participated in a panel discussion on the rule of law in the new Iraq. They analyzed how effective the recent developments in Iraq, including the adoption of a new constitution and trial of Saddam Hussein, would be in establishing a democratic self-government. Following their discussion, the panelists responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.

Judge Campbell, former senior advisor to the Iraq Ministry of Justice, served on the panel, which was moderated by John Norton Moore. close
