The American Bar Association held a law and national security conference titled “National Security Law in a Changed World: The Fifteenth Annual Review of the Field” to address the prosecuting of terrorists and rule of law efforts in Iraq.

Experts participated in a panel discussion on dangerous speech. They addressed the effectiveness of proposed laws in the United Kingdom that would outlaw the making of statements that glorify terrorism. Members of the panel also discussed the possibility of incitement laws ever being created in the United States. Following their discussion, the panelists responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. Ms. Spaulding moderated the panel. close
