U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer gave the luncheon address at the 2005 National Conference on Appellate Justice. He spoke about recent developments impacting federal appellate courts as well as similarities of the lower courts with the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Breyer also discussed the role of the courts to find a uniform role of federal law. Following his remarks, he responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. close
