Witnesses testified about whether Saudi Arabia is a friend or foe in the global effort to combat terrorism. Deputy Assistant Secretary Glaser discussed measures taken by the Saudi Arabian government to decrease terrorist financing and the evolution of its perspective on counter terrorism. A brief video presentation was shown of terrorists promoting jihad against Christians and Jews on broadcasts monitored by the Saudi government. A second panel discussed the enforcement of Wahhabi ideology in Saudi Arabia, condemnation of infidels, and the distribution of anti-American propaganda. close
