Nuremberg War Crimes Trials Mr. Ferencz spoke about the 60th anniversary of the beginning of the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials that began November 20, 1945 and ended April 13, 1949. Mr. Ferencz was the chief prosecutor for one of the trials that resulted in the conviction of 24 members of German mobile killing units, known as the Einsatzgruppen.
