Garry Wills talked about his book Henry Adams and the Making of America, published by Houghton Mifflin. He spoke about the life of Henry Adams, the grandson of John Quincy Adams, including a claim by the 19th century author that Napoleon planned on setting up a French empire West of the United States. Mr. Wills also discussed the lack of political ambition by Henry Adams. Following his remarks, Mr. Wills responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
