A panel discussion was held on memoirs. Three authors read from portions of their memoirs and spoke about their writings. Following their individual presentations, the authors collectively responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. Mr. Mabe introduced the panelists and moderated the program.

J.R. Moehringer is the author of The Tender Bar: A Memoir, published by Hyperion. James Atlas is the author of My Life in the Middle Ages: A Survivor’s Tale], published by HarperCollins. Joseph Lelyveld is the author of Omaha Blues: A Memory Loop, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. close
