Panelists discussed the future of U.S. monetary policy, the likely impact of Ben Bernanke’s replacement of Alan Greenspan as Chairman of the Federal Reserve, inflation targeting as a means of controlling monetary policy and the economy, and past uses of inflation targeting in foreign economies.
