Democratic leaders spoke to reporters about a report on implementation of recommendations by the September 11 Commission on Terrorist attacks which found several areas in which no action or little action had been taken to address the commission’s concerns. They were critical of the Bush administration for its lack of response or slow responses to several recommendations, and called for improved security measures and funding for existing security proposals. Following their remarks they answered questions from the reporters. They also used several props and charts to make their points about the state of security. close
