Two of the authors of What Women Really Want: How American Women Are Quietly Erasing Political, Racial, Class, and Religious Lines to Change the Way We Live, published by Free Press discussed their book. In the book, they argue that women are reshaping the future of America. Pollster Kellyanne Conway, and Celinda Lake, a political strategist for the Democratic Party, combined their collected data to examine the future role of women both in the marketplace and in politics. Among the topics they addressed were agenda consciousness, role in local politics, and flexibility in the workplace. Following their remarks, they responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. Barbara Kasoff moderated the discussion at the 2005 Sacramento Conference of the Professional BusinessWomen of California. close
