Pentagon officials held a town hall meeting for Defense Department personnel on U.S. policy in Iraq and the future of Iraq following elections in the country. Secretary Rumsfeld and General pace spoke from the stage of the Pentagon auditorium with selected military personnel behind them, while General Casey addressed the audience via video link from Baghdad. Among the topics addressed were reports of election turnout from Iraq, the future of military deployment levels in Iraq, and the state of the Iraqi insurgency. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
