Participating by remote video uplink from Albany, New York, former Ambassador Farhang talked about Iran’s nuclear program. He spoke about Iran’s intent to continue with their nuclear program despite threats by members of the European Union to refer Iran to the Security Council. Ambassador Farhang served as Iran’s first ambassador to the U.N. He also served as advisor to Iran’s foreign minister and as a negotiator in the Iran-Iraq war. The guest responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
