The Lincoln Forum symposium meets annually near the November 19th anniversary of the Gettysburg address to hear from authors and scholars on the 16th president. The 2005 meeting was devoted to studying the assassination of President Lincoln.

In these seven hours of programming, Book TV presented recorded lectures from the Lincoln Forum, and then gave viewers a chance to call in and ask questions.
