Peter Bergen talked about his book The Osama bin Laden I Know: An Oral History of al Qaeda’s Leader, published by Free Press. Peter Bergen used first-hand accounts by bin Laden’s family members and close friends to document bin Laden’s transformation from a shy teenager into the commander of one the largest terrorist groups in the world. Mr. Bergen shared some of the accounts described in his book. Following his presentation, the author responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
