Michael D’Antonio talked about his book Hershey: Milton S. Hershey’s Extraordinary Life of Wealth, Empire, and Utopian Dreams, published by Simon and Schuster. The book profiles the life and career of businessman and philanthropist Milton Hershey. The book details how Mr. Hershey built his own chocolate factory and the town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, including the boys' home he established in 1910. Mr. D’Antonio pointed out that although Milton Hershey could be described as a controlling businessman with a short temper, his kindness and compassion for other people was sincere. After his presentation, Mr. D’Antonio answered questions from members of the audience. close
