Stage and screen actor Richard Dreyfus talked about Hollywood’s view of the news media. Among the topics he addressed were the centrality of free expression in democracies, the political and cultural climate of America, and the news media’s role in civic instruction. He also talked about his own political beliefs, the advocating the ideals of democracy and the rule of law, and said the he supported the impeachment of President Bush. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
