Life Out of Context
The program, “Conversations with the Nation: An Evening with Walter Mosley and Harry Belafonte,” was presented by the Nation Institute at the Cooper Union with the sponsorship of the New School.
Walter Mosley talked about his book Life Out of Context: Which Includes a Proposal for the Non-Violent Takeover of the House of Representatives, published by Nation Books. Mr. Mosley was interviewed by Mr. Belafonte about his book, in which he urges blacks to break their ties with the Democratic party and form their own party. Walter Mosley and Harry Belafonte discussed ways to fight poverty, exploitation, injustice and racism. They responded to questions submitted by members of the audience.
