Rabbi Michael Lerner talked about his book The Left Hand of God: Retaking our Country Back from the Religious Right, published by HarperSanFrancisco. He examined the current state of faith in government and challenged the Democratic Party to reclaim America from the so-called “religious right” by rethinking its relationship to God and letting go of its deep fear of religion. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions.
