Eugene Linden talked about his book The Winds of Change: Climate, Weather, and the Destruction of Civilizations, published by Simon and Schuster. Mr. Linden argued that climate change has played a largely unconsidered role in the destruction of past civilizations and that it should be considered seriously when we talk about national security today. Mr. Linden also discussed the latest findings by scientists on the subject of global warming and talked about what the consequences might be if the problem is not addressed. Mr. Linden answered questions from members of the audience following his remarks. close
