Cheryl Ruff talked about her book, Ruff’s War: A Navy Nurse on the Frontline in Iraq, published by the Naval Institute Press. The book was a collaborative effort between Ms. Ruff and retired Navy nurse Sue Roper. The presentation included a power point presentation in which Commander Ruff showed pictures she took while stationed at various bases throughout Iraq, including the tents she lived in and the conditions under which her and her colleagues operated. Following the presentation she answered questions from the audience. close
