Mr. Stamp and Mr. Swift spoke about the operation of military tribunals, Constitutional issues surrounding the trials of detainees suspected of terrorism, and the rights of the accused. They focused on cases of prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, rules for proceedings against terrorist detainees, the significance of military jurisdiction in such cases, and the precedents for action by military tribunals.
