Professors Geelhoed and Edmonds talked about the relationship between Prime Minister Harold MacMillan and President Eisenhower and how they were able to heal the “special relationship” between the U.S. and Great Britain after the Suez Crisis of 1956. Professors Geelhoed and Edmonds co-edited The MacMillan-Eisenhower Correspondence, 1957-69 and co-wrote Eisenhower, MacMillan and Allied Unity, 1957-61, both published by Palgrave Macmillan.
