Mr. Boehm talked about a complaint against Representative Alan Mollohan (D-WV) concerning his financial disclosures and whether there was a link between Mr. Mollohan’s financial dealings and congressional earmarks. Mr. Mollohan was a member of the Appropriations Committee and a ranking member on the House Ethics Committee. Mr. Mollohan and his wife disclosed assets of up to $565,000 in 2000 and assets of between $6 million and $24 million in 2004. Mr. Mollohan had said there were no links between earmarks for projects in his district and his family investments. close
