Secretary Chertoff gave the luncheon keynote address at an Emergency Preparedness Health Summit for health executives, emergency preparedness experts, and leaders of hospitals and medical schools were generating a series of recommendations for hospital administrators, first responders and others. He talked about emergency preparedness and coordination among various agencies for disaster planning, lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina, and meeting future challenges.
