Juliet Eilperin was interviewed about her book Fight Club Politics: How Partisanship Is Poisoning the U.S. House of Representatives, published by Rowman and Littlefield. Using her observations from covering Congress for six years she said the “people’s house” has drifted from its roots of being the body of government closest to ordinary Americans. She argued that in recent years its members have become solely focused on maintaining power inside the Beltway.

She was interviewed by Richard Cohen, congressional correspondent for National Journal. close
