Margaret Wagner and Gary Gallagher talked about the book The American Civil War: 365 Days. Written by Ms. Wagner, with an introduction by Civil War historian Gary Gallagher, the book was published by the Library’s Publishing Office, in association with Harry N. Abrams Inc. The book includes photographs, lithographs, battlefield drawings, music covers and political cartoons that the author said heavily influenced public opinion of the war. They responded to questions from members of the audience.
