Among the topics they addressed were the president’s plan to deploy 6000 National Guard troops along the U.S.-Mexico border, development of enforcement and monitoring assets along the border, and the ability of the National Guard to meet the challenge. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters in the audience. close
