Neil Hanson talked about his book Unknown Soldiers: The Story of the Missing of the First World War, published by Knopf. In the book Mr. Hanson recounts the war experiences of three men, an American, an Englishman and a German, who died during World War I. Mr. Hanson explained that all three soldiers died at the second Battle of the Somme in 1916 and became part of the three million World War I soldiers whose bodies remained unidentified. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions. close
