Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity John Stossel talked about his book Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity: Get Out the Shovel--Why Everything You Know Is Wrong, published by Hyperion. He talked about the value of the free markets. During the talk, Mr. Stossel used the example of the education system in America to illustrate his argument that more competition will improve schools. He also argued that there is a widespread belief, among those who work in the media, that capitalism is bad. Following his remarks, Mr. Stossel answered questions from the Cato audience. close
