Richard Lowry talked about his book Marines in the Garden of Eden: The Battle for An Nasiriyah, published by Berkley, on the day of its release. In his book, military historian Richard Lowry recounted what he described as “the bloodiest battle in the campaign to oust Saddam Hussein.” The book detailed what happened during the seven days after members of the 507th Maintenance Company, including Private Jessica Lynch, were ambushed and taken prisoner in Iraq on March 23, 2003. He responded to questions from members of the audience. close
