Andrei Piontkovsky talked about his volume of essays, Another Look at Putin’s Soul, published by Hudson Institute Press. The collection analyzes Russian domestic and foreign policy from 2001-06, especially President Putin’s declaratory shift from solidarity with the U.S. after September 11 ("Americans, we are with you") to his comparison of America to “Comrade Wolf"(who) "knows whom to eat"and eats without listening.” He argued that Russia and the West cannot remain divided in the face of serious joint challenges.
