Jed Horne talked about his book Breach of Faith: Hurricane Katrina and the Near Death of a Great American City, published by Random House. Mr. Horne, the city editor at the Times-Picayune, was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for his part in the newspaper’s coverage of Hurricane Katrina. He talked about the phases of Hurricane Katrina and described President Bush and the Department of Homeland Security as mishandling the natural disaster. He also talked about current efforts to rebuild the affected areas and responded to audience members' questions. close
