Consumers Union held a press conference about the results of its “Nursing Home Quality Monitor” scheduled for release in the September 2006 issue of Consumer Reports. Participants talked about the quality of care provided by nursing home facilities, methods of monitoring elderly care facilities and practices, and the performance of nursing homes over periods of time. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters. close
