Participating by telephone, Ms. Henderson described the Vera Institute’s study of the impact of terrorist attacks on law enforcement agencies and Arab Americans. They found less hate crimes than expected, but found increased fear of aggressive government policies.

Mr. Awad primarily agreed with the Vera Institute study and talked about law enforcement since the September 11 terrorist attacks. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
