Rep. Charles Wilson (D-TX), a member of the House Intelligence and Appropriations committees, discussed aid to the Soviet Union and the reform of the Soviet economy. The United States has agreed to provide technical assistance to the Soviet Union to assist the Soviet economy. Rep. Wilson viewed his concern that the United States is providing assistance while the Soviet Union continues to fund Cuba, commit aggressions in Afghanistan, and continued production of submarines and other defense items. close
