Sen. Levin, member of the Senate Governmental Affairs committee,

addressed the American League of Lobbyists in Washington on the need

for reform in regulations on lobbyists. Sen. Levin argued the current regulations on lobbyists, originally approved in 1946, contain loopholes and inconsistencies concerning lobbyists' conduct,

and does not deal with other types of lobbying such as that conducted with congressional aides and staff. The question-and-answer session is not included. close
