Pennsylvania Presidential Sites Tour
This “Presidents and Patriots” tour April 28 - May 7, 2006, visited presidential sites and Civil War and Revolutionary War sites in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The tour was organized by the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University and the National Archives.

Richard Norton Smith conducted a tour of presidential sites. A C-SPAN videojournalist accompanied the group. Included are the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, grave site of President James Buchanan and his home, Wheatland. After that, the tour visited the Gettysburg Civil War battlefield and President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s farm in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
