Janis Kearney talked about her book, Conversations: From Hope to Harlem, published by BlackBookPlus.com. Ms. Kearney was the first official presidential diarist, recording President Clinton’s daily life on the job from 1995 until he left office in 2001. Described as "part historical narrative, and part oral history", her book draws from her work as diarist and from interviews she conducted with a variety of African American leaders. Ms. Kearney discussed the book and was followed at the lectern by remarks from former President Clinton. close
