Former Secretary of State Baker talked about his biography "Work Hard, Study...and Keep Out of Politics!": Adventures and Lessons from an Unexpected Public Life, published by Putnam. President George H.W. Bush’s Secretary of State described his career in politics, saying his political career began shortly after the death of his wife when he was asked to work on George H.W. Bush’s senatorial campaign. He also discussed his time working in both the Ford and Reagan administrations and shared his thoughts on the 2000 presidential election U.S. Supreme Court decision. After his presentation former Secretary Baker responded to audience members' questions. close
