A panel moderated by Will Dobson spoke about the topic, “The Future of the U.S.-Korea Alliance: Challenges, Opportunities, Uncertainties.” Among the topics they addressed were the potential impact of North Korean nuclear tests on regional stability, security agreements and trade with South Korea, and on future cooperation on the Korean peninsula. They also talked about the future of six-party talks and likely reaction to United Nations sanctions. Following prepared remarks they responded to questions from the audience.
