Candidates for the seat in from Connecticut 4th Congressional District debated at Fairfield University. Among the issues they addressed were foreign policy and national security, the Bush administration record, the economy, and campaign tactics employed by various campaigns.

The debate was moderated by Philip Eliasoph, director of public affairs for Open VISIONS Forum. The panelists were representatives of student groups, including: and Hutch Williams, Fairfield University Student Association president; the College Republicans; the College Democrats; the student newspaper, The Mirror; the student FM radio station, WVOF; The Ham Channel, the on campus student cable channel; and the university debate team. close
