After an introduction by her mother Barbara Bush, Doro Bush Koch talked about her book, My Father, My President: A Personal Account of the Life of George H. W. Bush, newly published by Warner Books. In the memoir, she recounted childhood memories of her father, former President George H. W. Bush, and revealed how he dealt with crises and challenges as both a father and a president. She discussed how the 41st president felt when two of his sons entered politics and talked about his friendship with former rival Bill Clinton. The author was joined on stage by her father for a discussion. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
